Miles Garrett is a small-production winemaker based in the remote Willow Creek AVA of Humboldt County, Northern California, who came to wine through farming and curiosity.
His approach is rooted in thoughtful, low-intervention practices: certified organic, dry-farmed vineyards; native yeast fermentations to express site; minimal to no additives or sulfur; and regenerative farming supported by cover crops and grazing animals.
While aligned with natural winemaking, Garrett is intentional about avoiding excess “funk,” instead prioritizing purity of fruit, balance, and overall drinkability.
Bridging the gap between natural wine philosophy and classic drinkability—a rare sweet spot where both camps are happy.
