JUNE 2026
WINE CLUB
Everything is chillable in June
Who says red wine has to be room temperature? Not us, and definitely not on a hot Seattle summer day.
This Chillable Everything lineup celebrates wines that laugh in the face of tradition; light reds that sing when slightly chilled and crisp whites that make you forget it's only Tuesday. The chill emphasizes freshness, acidity, and fruit while making these wines especially refreshing on warm summer days.
Whites + rosés: chill 45–60 minutes in the fridge before serving
Light reds: chill 20–30 minutes in the fridge before serving

Herència Altés Garnatxa Blanca 2023
Grape
100% Garnatxa Blanca
Region
Terra Alta, Catalonia, Spain
Retail
$25
Why it’s cool
Founded by husband-and-wife team Núria Altés and Rafael De Haan, Herència Altés helped put Terra Alta back on the map by championing old-vine Garnatxa and sustainable farming. Rafael, originally from Belgium, fell in love with the region while working harvests and eventually settled there to make wine alongside Núria, whose family has farmed these vineyards for generations.
This wine reflects Terra Alta's limestone-rich soils, Mediterranean sunshine, and cooling winds that preserve freshness. Fermented primarily in stainless steel to highlight purity and texture, it offers lush orchard fruit, subtle herbs, and a mineral edge. Think of it as the friend who suggests an impromptu beach picnic and somehow has the perfect snacks packed.
Why it's chillable
Garnatxa Blanca naturally combines ripe fruit with bright acidity and a subtle mineral backbone. A slight chill reins in the wine's richness and makes it feel especially crisp and refreshing. Green fruit, fresh herbs, and stony minerality become more pronounced while the texture feels brighter and more energetic.

Antica Tenuta Pietramore Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo 2025
Grape
100% Montepulciano
Region
Abruzzo, Italy
Retail
$28
Why it’s cool
Antica Tenuta Pietramore was founded in 2011 by Maria Pia Leone and Massimiliano Bartolomei, who set out to showcase the potential of Abruzzo through organic and biodynamic farming. The name “Pietramore” translates roughly to “love of stone,” reflecting Maria’s deep connection to the land.
Their 70-hectare estate sits between the Adriatic Sea and the dramatic Maiella Mountains, creating a unique microclimate where cooling mountain air meets maritime influence. Made using the traditional saignée method, this Cerasuolo has the freshness of rosé with a little extra depth and character. Clay-rich soils, mountain breezes, and proximity to the sea help preserve freshness while building concentration. This wine is the life of the backyard barbecue and also knows a lot about art.
Why it’s chillable
Montepulciano naturally combines vibrant fruit, refreshing acidity, and moderate tannin, allowing the wine to retain flavor and texture even when served cold. A good chill brings out the juicy cherry notes and makes the whole thing feel brighter and more refreshing.

Tenuta Sant’Antonio Valpolicella “Nanfrè” 2023
Grape
Corvina, Rondinella, and Croatina
Region
Veneto, Italy
Retail
$23
Why it’s cool
Four brothers — Massimo, Armando, Paolo, and Tiziano Castagnedi — founded Tenuta Sant’Antonio after growing up helping their father farm vineyards in the Veneto countryside. Today, they’re considered among the producers who helped modernize and elevate Valpolicella while remaining deeply rooted in family tradition.
Nanfrè comes from hillside vineyards in eastern Veneto, where limestone soils and cool alpine influences help maintain freshness while delivering bright red fruit character. Fermented in stainless steel with a focus on preserving vibrancy rather than extraction, the wine is juicy, energetic, and endlessly drinkable. This is the effortlessly stylish Italian who arrives by Vespa carrying a bag of fresh market produce.
Why it’s chillable
Corvina-based wines naturally have bright acidity, low tannin, and juicy red fruit, making them ideal candidates for serving slightly cooler than room temperature. Bright red fruit and floral notes become more lifted while the wine feels lighter and more thirst-quenching.
Perfect chill
20–30 minutes in the fridge

Quinta da Raza Vicinus Rosé 2024 (6-bottle club exclusive)
Grape
50% Padeiro, 30% Espadeiro, 20% Vinhão
Region
Vinho Verde, Portugal
Retail
$25
Why it’s cool
Quinta da Raza has been in the Teixeira Coelho family for five generations, with roots in the Basto sub-region of Vinho Verde dating back to the 18th century. The estate’s historic Casa do Outeiro is recognized as a property of public interest by the Portuguese Heritage Institute.
Today, Diogo Teixeira Coelho continues his family’s legacy, championing the unique character of Basto through sustainable farming and a deep connection to the region he has called home his entire life. This rosé reflects the cooler inland climate of Basto, where Atlantic influence, rolling hills, and granite soils help preserve freshness and vibrant acidity. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to capture purity and bright fruit, it bursts with crunchy citrus and red fruit. It’s the friend organizing a sunset boat ride and making it look easy.
Why it’s chillable
High natural acidity and Atlantic-influenced freshness make this rosé practically built for colder serving temperatures. Red fruit, citrus zest, and floral aromas become more focused while the wine feels incredibly crisp and refreshing.

The grapes are destemmed, fermented at cool temperatures, and aged in neutral and lightly toasted French oak, adding texture without overshadowing the fruit.
Why it’s chillable
Pinot Noir’s naturally delicate tannins and bright acidity make it one of the world’s most chill-friendly red wines. Fruit and earthy notes become more defined while the wine feels silky, vibrant, and exceptionally food-friendly.
